I am a Technician from start always eager to learn that I do not know.
I am a Team leader with the goal to motivate and get my team members in the right direction with maximum power.
With my own company I have proven that I am an entrepreneur going from 1 to 100 employees in 4 cities. Even if I was the owner and CEO I always tried to understand the content of what we were offering and working with. This gave me a good understanding of IT in general and PC-solutions in special. My company was offering solutions for ERP, PLM/WEB solutions, LAN and WAN solutions, Training, Server solutions with our own data center and Sports solution (Ice Hockey Statistics for World championships and Olympic Games 2002 in Salt Lake city= we had to deliver in time)
At Motala Verkstad a was Quality manager and got certifications for ISO 9000, ISO 14000 and ISO 13485 (medical manufacturing) which gave me a good understand for documentation and workflows (practical PLM) to improve the business for the company.
As a Plant manager for Electrolux Motala factory (2006- 2011) I first turned the factory from poor performances (new products and new machinery) to good quality, good delivery with the help of Electrolux Lean manufacturing system) I was also leading the closure of the factory (due to high cost in the country). This closure was going well and we were producing to the best quality and deliveries until the last day.
As Deployment manager for Electrolux IT (2011 – 2016) I was planning and deploying Siemens Teamcenter to Electrolux sites around the world, over 40 sites. At the same time I was a part och the developing team as a represent for the customer and I got a good knowledge of the system.
I also become Operation manager for the PLM system where I also had to learn more about the IT setup for all Electrolux and standardization for operations and improvements of updates and training.
I created a standardize way to upgrade the clients via remote services.
I created a web based training system for all instructions and helpfiles with a standardized way of getting feedback and update the system due to the users demands and wishes.
Due to my latest consultant work as Project manager (Alfa Laval, Danfoss, Rototilt, Saab and Ericsson) I have learned more about Siemens Teamcenter and Dassault 3Dx, as well as how to implement a PLM system in an organization. (Good and Bad)
My main learning is:
1/ You need a committed top management to support the implementation a/ enough money as well as resources b/ give time to organization to work with the implementation
2/ Have an implementation plan that is realistic and committed
3/ Do not implement everything at the same time, do a step by step implementation
Summary: I am:
1/ A Leader that listen and motivate the team as well as when needed be tough and drive things that have to be done (like closing a factory)
